Located in Jonquières, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac, Mas Cal Demoura embodies Languedoc excellence. This estate, whose Occitan name evokes an invitation to stay, testifies to the unwavering commitment of its winemakers to this exceptional terroir. Established in the 1990s, the property was taken over in 2004 by the couple Isabelle and Vincent Goumard, who today cultivate around fifteen hectares organically. The blend of clay-limestone soils and the characteristic freshness of the local climate produce wines of remarkable finesse, where power and elegance balance in perfect harmony. The domaine rigorously cultivates the region's emblematic grape varieties: for reds, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault; for whites, Chenin, Grenache Blanc and Roussanne. The winemaking approach favours controlled yields, spontaneous fermentations and careful ageing in barriques, demi-muids and amphorae to reveal the authenticity of the terroir.
